Ave Dominus Nox, I am returning to the hobby

I am returning!
I took a break from the hobby after adepticon, my son was born and I wanted/needed to learn how to balance being a father, a husband, and my hobby.  Previously I had a word bearers army, sadly the way I painted them I can no longer safely reproduce.  So I have become Midnight Clad!

Last night I completed assembling the last of my current 1850 nightlords.  I will have to post pictures of my progress.

But for now I am back in the hobby and preparing for 2015 Adepticon and if the Iron Duke has his way I will be posting more often.

Hobby update: my new DIY paint shelf

Last night I finally killed a project on my todo list.  I built a shelf system to hold my paints.  My hope is this will inspire me to actually paint, and this post more, and prevent me from buying unneeded duplicates.  The total cost for this shelf was under $15 Canadian and took me 30 minutes to make.

Wings of blood

Iv started to paint my bloodthirster stand in and I thought I would share some WIP shots.  Sadly my hobby progress these last few months has been losing more games then winning.  Enjoy my attempt at Transparent flesh wings.  More shots to come as I finish him.
